Hospital Keyboard Infection Control
Hospital keyboard infection control is a high priority in healthcare facilities. They can easily spread communicable diseases. Armed with this knowledge, HCI created the Health-Key series of medical-grade keyboards in collaboration with a major hospital for both patient room and clinician workstation use. This feature-rich keyboard is easy to set up, use and keep clean. The infection control Health-Key Keyboard alerts when it needs to be cleaned while the glass surface and sealed design make disinfection simple. Ideal for use in patient rooms, labs, with Internet-connected TVs, and with clinician workstations.
How are HCI hospital keyboards different?
Auto-Alerts on the keyboard notify you when the keyboard needs to be cleaned. Health-Key Keyboards are unique in hospital accessories in that these hospital keyboards automatically alert when cleaning is required after a specific number of touches, which can be adjusted in the settings. The keyboard can be placed in a dishwasher for sanitizing; it is completely sealed to IEC IP Water Resistant Standards and can be quickly and thoroughly disinfected.
The design and key size make it easy to use in any conditions, with a backlit keyboard for low light conditions. Created in collaboration with a major hospital for patient rooms, clinician workstations and labs, this feature-rich keyboard helps prevent the spread of contagious microbes and is easy to set up, use and keep clean. No other hospital keyboards offer these features.
There are numerous connection options for HCI Health-Key Infection Control Keyboards. Three models are available, with a choice of connections: wired and wireless, Bluetooth and Wifi. Two models feature a quick-charging battery having up to a 30-day life, and the Model 3 has a USB-C port wired connection. All models feature large, graphic keys and a numeric keypad. The Model 3 Keyboard features numeric keypad conversion to a trackpad with right and left mouse click, and all models feature Haptic Touch and auditory touch cues, which can be silenced with a single touch.
