The Interactive Hall Whiteboard from HCI provides vital patient information at a glance on a digital touch screen display. The Interactive Hall Whiteboard displays basic patient identification, with Care Team, Next and Last Rounding Times, patient InfoTile Protocol flags and messaging or patient requests. If an Alert is triggered, the screen and frame illuminate with a bright LED light showing the type of alert and time elapsed. The screen can be updated through a password-protected module with a “lock” button to prevent unauthorized changes.
All changes are fed through MediaCare, our enterprise-wide integration platform which is tied to the EHR, RTLS and Nurse Call systems. Any changes made on the Interactive Hall Whiteboard are reflected on the in-room Interactive Patient Whiteboard and Interactive Unit Whiteboard, and recorded accurately and immediately in the patient’s EHR. Service requests made through the Interactive Patient Whiteboard in the patient room are reflected on the Interactive Hall Whiteboard, and reduce task and alert saturation for staff and clinicians.
