HCI builds the software that runs on the screens in a patient room. We are in Cincinnati, we sell through dealers who install in your state, and we have spent more than two decades learning what a hospital will actually keep using after the first month.
A twenty five bed hospital deserves the same platform as a system with twenty thousand beds. Pricing it so that only the largest can buy it is a choice, and it is not ours.
We read the systems you already own rather than asking you to replace them, and we do not hold your data somewhere you cannot reach it.
We will tell you when the television can stay, when a competitor is stronger, and when something on our list is not right for your building.
HCI started as a hardware manufacturer. The screens mattered then because there was nothing else. Over time the interesting part moved into the software, and so did we, which is why the platform now runs on hospital televisions we did not make as happily as on panels we did.
| Then | Now |
|---|---|
| A television for a patient room | Eight surfaces reading one integration layer |
| Sold as a box, serviced as a box | Sold as software, installed by a dealer near you |
| The set decided what was possible | The record decides, and the set displays it |
| A television refresh every several years | A platform that gets better without a truck |
HCI does not sell direct. A dealer in your state quotes the job, installs the screens, holds the spares and takes the first call. We build the software, run the integration and stand behind them. That is the reason a hospital without a program office can still deploy this.
Thirty minutes, live software on sample data, and an honest answer about what fits your building.
