RenderingFloat Sidebar for Lenovo Tab K9
An 8.7 inch Lenovo Tab K9 becomes the door sign. The enclosure hides the tablet's own bezel, the room plate carries raised numerals and braille, and clear light strips in both side walls wash the wall beside the sign.
Same enclosure either way. The version sets where the room number goes.

Read the room from down the hall.
Clear strips printed into both side walls carry the light. The HCI ONE server sets the color from the same nurse call and location feeds that run the rest of the room.

Four parts. One screw.
- Back housingPrinted back with the light controller and the PoE splitter inside. Clear strips run down both side walls. It hangs on a hanger plate on the single gang box.
- Lenovo Tab K9Portrait, with the USB C port at the top and the camera at the bottom. A right angle plug tucks up into a pocket behind the plate.
- BezelOne printed piece. The window matches the display, so none of the tablet's black bezel shows. One security screw from below locks the sign to the wall.
- Room plateRaised 1 inch numerals with Grade 2 braille below. Plates swap without reprinting the bezel.
Two layouts. The same tablet.
Numerals and braille are raised 1 mm. Choose the number in a column beside the tablet, or on a plate above it. The HCI ONE mark is flush, so fingers find only the number and the braille.

Flush to the wall. Light down both sides.

Float Sidebar shows the same care team, precautions and room state as the whiteboard inside. If your doors use the 11 inch iPad, see the Float iPad Door Sign.
A smaller sign, the same door.
